SCHAUMBURG, Ill., Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- New horizons in dermatologic
surgery, ranging from research breakthroughs and innovative technologies to
advances in cosmetic skin treatments, will headline the 27th Annual Clinical

in Denver, Colorado, on November 2-5, 2000. Dermatologic surgery is the
fastest growing subspecialty of dermatology and brings together nearly 1000

"Our annual meeting is the largest and most comprehensive educational
program devoted exclusively to dermatologic surgery, featuring experts from

cosmetic and reconstructive skin surgery," says ASDS President William P.

understanding of the basics as well as innovations in the field to better
ensure safe and effective patient care."
The scientific program features original research reports, mini-symposia,
in-depth focus seminars and abstract forums in laser technology, skin
rejuvenation, chemical peels, dermabrasion, vein treatment, facial
reconstruction, liposuction, hair restoration, skin cancer and more. Invited
guest lectures on cosmetic laser eyelid surgery, new aspects of melanoma
oncology and facial rejuvenation will also be presented. Capping off the
educational agenda are clinical poster exhibits and technical exhibits
displaying products and services specific to the field.
